So back in Spring 2017, PRS Foundation granted us a fund under the 'Women makes music' scheme. So that gave us a opportunity to work with Ali Chant, who is amazing sound engineer/producer/musician in Bristol. He used to run legendary recording studio- Toy Box studio and worked many amazing artists such as PJ Harvey! Ali is such a legend. We've made plan to have 8 days recording and 3 days of mixing. His new studio 'THE PLAYPEN' is 2 min away from my house at the edge of Easton. The studio is filled up with cool analogue synth, pedals, amps, a Gong and all other fun stuff.... We had such a great time there. Ali is so good with people and we are very relaxed to play. Also we really appreciated his approach of recording and his good ear and taste. We are so excited to finish all and looking forward to hear the end result !! Here are some clips of fun times...
